The Bible belongs to everyone, not just
to any special group of people. Anyone may become a contributor to the
HCI simply
by writing a topical article with related scripture references. You need not be a member of the HCI to do
so. It is an act of faith and fellowship that may be shared with
everyone. We will learn together and accept correction through email
referencing the appropriate Holy Scriptures. All articles by all HCI staff and
contributors may be rewritten to reflect new understanding by the
author. Do not fear being wrong, only an unwillingness to be corrected.
Everything that is necessary to become a
contributor will be provided as we grow and develop. The first step in
becoming a contributor is to study the Bible by reading it from Genesis
to Revelation to get the words in your memory even if you are not
conscientious of doing so. Simply ask God the Father for understanding
by saying the Lord's Prayer, the perfect prayer that meets every need.
He will help you to understand by enabling you to compare related
scriptures. A list of Bible study print, audio, audio/visual, and
Internet resources will also be provided.
Do not be concerned that you are not a
writer. Write the way that you speak. Our editors will help you present
your understanding and application of the related scriptures with style.
Anyone who can do better is welcome to become an editor. A discussion
group and chat room
dedicated to helping contributors research and write their articles will
be provided. Another chat room will provide for all other Christian
conversation. Praise God for such computer literacy in the world and
especially the USA where Internet access is provided through public
libraries and schools. Services for those who cannot access the the
virtual church through the Internet will be provided by members,
associate members, and friends who do.
Once we have agreement through online
Bible study and the writing of topical contributor articles, we can
approach worship services and fellowship in our homes with confidence as
members and associate members of the HCI. Every member will have a
suitable home church because we will work together to make it so. (Deu
15:4-5 NIV | Deu 15:4-5 NIV) People who are enabled to reach their full
potential in life produce a good return for themselves, their church,
and nation.
